CAPture SoE is a PC-based solution based on industry-standards, and featuring a familiar Windows based user-interface. In comparison to competing products, CAPture SoE offers:

CAPture SoE is a distributed Sequence of Events (SoE) Logger, designed to monitor and record pre-specified parameters of the target environment, through multiple recording entities, so that any failure can be easily matched to a specific sub-system in the environment; and, problem resolution therefore becomes more accurate and quicker.
CAPture SoE performs the following tasks:
Detect and identify events through digital input lines with a resolution of 1 millisecond (ms).
Detect and identify analog events through analog inputs with a resolution of 100 microseconds (µs).
Maintain separate tables of detected analog and digital events, for each logging system
Transmit test data through network to remote display units during tests and off-line
Merge test data from various acquisition systems and generate reports

Software Features
 
The GUI in the DDS module consists of user friendly software panels. The user has options to configure the following:
Digital and analog channels for event and pulse acquisition.
Specifying legend names and the order of displaying the events in the test panel.
Setting pass/fail criteria, by selecting event time window, threshold and range for analog channels.
Setting sensor parameters like sensitivity and offset.
Programming per channel filter settings, for analog channels.
 
Monitoring activities or tests are initiated by the DDS modules; and can be started on remote systems simultaneously or one after the other. Synchronization is provided by using a common hardware trigger line for all remote systems. The real-time software can continuously monitor events; for the duration of days. The software performs the following functions during monitoring activities or tests:
Analog Event Monitoring with 100µs resolution
Digital Event Monitoring with 1ms resolution
Comparison of analog and digital event details with the user-configured look-up tables.
Determining pass/fail criteria and generating result tables
Updating custom designed software mimic panels corresponding to digital channels
Event-based logging, to minimize data size on system hard drives
Limit-checking on select channels, with alarm indications
   
Some of the other features provided by the software are:
Utility to transfer configuration and test data files from DDS modules to RDAS modules; and vice versa
Off-line analysis, to analyze previous occurred-events data
Merging data files from different RDAS modules
Generating quick reports; both on-line and off-line
